Thanks for your visit! Here are my specs:

Q. Tell me about your fancy papers and what those will do for me.

A. I tripled down on being a Chaos Coordinator (Social Worker) with my bachelor’s degree, master’s degree, and clinical license so it’s totally in my blood now. Q. So… what else do you have to offer?

A. I was called “The Source” in one of my past social work lives, and I’ll take my encyclopedic brain in session with you too. I stay hungry for knowledge and I share whatever I think could be helpful. I feel that comprehensive or “wraparound” services are most effective, so I will be randomly relevant.

Q. How do I know I can trust you? This isn’t just any old stuff, this is MY stuff.

A. Well, I don’t expect you to. Trust needs to be earned so I don’t expect you to just give it to me. I very much want you to advocate for yourself and feel that you can ask for what you need. I’ll own up to what I know and don’t know, including if I think you could be better served elsewhere.
Also, I’ve been a client myself and consider myself a person in recovery. It’s rough times, but rewarding. So the time and space I share with you is well-worn with my lived experience.

Q. Any last words?

A. I believe that therapy might be one hour or so of the 168 hour week, but therapy HAPPENS the rest of the time. I want you to reap what you can from our sessions and plant your own garden. It will be a joy to see you blossom! Let’s get digging!
